We're inspecting lines and poles to keep you safe

  • You may see us and our third-party authorized contractors in your neighborhoods and on our easements this summer.
  • You also may see some of our of contractors using drone technology–a safe and efficient way to inspect live power lines from overhead.
  • You also might see the wrong member name on a postcard mailed to you last month (due to a mail merge error from our third-party printing company.)

    • All the inspection info on the cards is still relevant.
    • We apologize for the error and the incorrect names!

Important things to know for wildfire season

  • Check out Live Wildfire Ready for simple, practical, low-cost actions you can take to prepare your home and property for wildfire.
  • Sign up for your county’s emergency alerts – it’s one of the best and fastest ways to stay informed of potentially dangerous events in your area.
  • Know why you might see power “blinks” – our system uses higher sensitivity settings on days with high fire risk to decrease the risk of wildfire ignition.

  • Exploring Washington, D.C.’s monuments and museums
  • Meeting with our state’s congressional delegation
  • Learning how electric co-ops operate

A special congratulations to Sharif Khan (left), elected by his statewide peers to represent Colorado on the Youth Leadership Council!

Heat pumps: why are they so cool?

  • Two-in-one: energy-efficient electric heating AND cooling, all in one system.
  • We’ll help you pay for it with a 25-50% rebate on the total cost of your project.
  • Additional rebates are available through our local energy partners.
  • Colorado residents can get a  $1500 state tax credit, too!
  • What’s the right heat pump for you? Check out the upcoming Heat Pump Webinars hosted by Walking Mountains.

We refreshed our website!

With some helpful new features:
