Bring your little ones to Glenwood Springs Recreation’s Touch A Truck event where they’ll get to interact with all the big trucks and rigs: firetrucks, police cars, dump trunks, trash trucks, tractors, excavators, food trucks, large bounce house, crafts, games – and of course an HCE boom truck!

Town of Eagle Showdown Town

Town of Eagle ShowDown Town, a project of the nonprofit Vail Valley Foundation, is a FREE annual concert series hosted on Thursdays at 6:30 pm throughout the summer at Eagle Town Park in Eagle, CO.

We’ll be there on July 25 to raffle off prizes and sign members up for Holy Cross Energy programs and services. 

Featuring live music from bluegrass band Danger Mountain!

The Basalt Summer Concert Series is a FREE annual concert series hosted on Wednesdays at 5:30 pm throughout the summer at Basalt River Park in downtown Basalt, CO.

We’ll be there on August 7 to raffle off prizes and sign members up for Holy Cross Energy programs and services.

Learn the basics of electric vehicles, EV charging, cost of ownership, tax credits (for used EVs too!) and more in this bilingual presentation. Snacks provided.

2:00 – 5:00 pm: Ride & Drive
Test drive new and used EVs and e-bikes, talk to EV owners and dealer reps, and get advice from local clean-energy nonprofits on how to take maximum advantage of tax credits and other incentives.

Avon Sustainability Fair

Mark your calendars and celebrate the changing seasons on May 24th with a little spring cleaning at the ninth annual Avon Town Clean Up, expanded to include a Sustainability Fair! This is your chance to clean up our beautiful Town after a long winter season, recycle your electronic waste, learn from local sustainability experts, all while enjoying free ice-cold beer and delicious food provided by Ein Prosit (while supplies last).

Learn how to make your home and business more sustainable at the Sustainability Fair featuring local industry experts providing education, demonstrations and showcasing best practices in waste diversion through composting and recycling, waterwise landscaping, water, and energy conservation and more. Town Staff will also be onsite to provide information on Avon’s recycling, compost and waste programs, the landscaping and noxious weed ordinances, energy rebates, new electric vehicles and so much more.

  • Parking will be extremely limited with free on street parking available on Lake Street, W. Beaver Creek Boulevard and W. Benchmark Road.
