Are you prepared for wildfire?
As wildfire hits our neighboring communities, it’s time to increase awareness and preparedness. We’ve updated our wildfire resources page to include two additional helpful links;
- Watch Duty: free mobile app providing alerts of nearby wildfires, firefighting efforts, and evacuation notices
- REALFire: free wildfire property risk assessments for homeowners in Eagle County
As a reminder, when our area is under a Red Flag warning, our system is set to higher sensitivity settings. This decreases the risk of wildfire ignition, but as a result, also increases the potential for members to experience short “blinks” in their power.

With Peak Time Payback, you can:
- Earn bill credits for conserving electricity during forecasted periods of high demand
- Participate entirely for free, with no penalty if you don’t reduce your usage

'Charge at Home' to ease range anxiety and public charging concerns
With a Level 2 Electric Vehicle Charger at home, it’s easy to charge your car overnight, leave every morning with a full “tank”, and alleviate range anxiety and worries about public charging.
We can help make your charger installation easy and affordable:
- We offer rebates for the cost of an approved charger up to $549
- We can also pay your upfront installation costs for you to repay on your electric bill over three years at 0% interest
And don’t forget! Colorado taxpayers are eligible for up to $7500 in EV tax credits. That’s in addition to the federal EV tax credits.
