In partnership with the Colorado Energy Office (CEO), Northwest Colorado Council of Governments (NWCCOG), and Eagle County, Holy Cross Energy (HCE) is expanding its income-qualified solar access to reduce the energy burden for our low to moderate-income (LMI) members.

This project would focus on members that live in manufactured housing in Eagle County, Colorado, and aim to reduce the energy costs by an average of 3kW of solar production per member, serving approximately 150 additional members.

Funding for the project is provided by a grant from the Colorado Energy Office and supplemented by Investment Tax Credits under the Inflation Reduction Act.

In collaboration with:

• Eagle County will provide oversight and manage the CEO funds.
• HCE will construct, own and maintain the solar array.
• CEO and NWCCOG will identify eligible members and manage applications and/or transfers to new residents.

Project construction is scheduled to start in April 2024 in coordination with local Earth Day Events.
