Celebrate co-op month with a cup of coffee, on us!

October is Co-op Month — and we’re celebrating with a member appreciation event! Join us for a cup of coffee (our treat) on the morning of Thursday, October 16.

We’ll be hanging out at a couple of local coffee spots to answer your questions about the co-op and help you enroll in our energy programs and services.

Colorado now offers up to $9,000 in EV savings.

While the federal electric vehicle tax credit officially expired last month, Colorado has stepped up with some expanded rebates through its Vehicle Exchange Colorado (VXC) program.

VXC helps income-qualified Coloradans recycle and replace their old or high-emitting vehicles with electric vehicles. Starting November 3, the rebate amount will increase to $9,000 for a new EV and $6,000 for a used EV!

Colorado now offers up to $9,000 in EV savings.

Electric Cooperative Youth Tour — June 2026

  • Tour D.C.’s historic monuments and museums, visit Capitol Hill, make friends from every corner of the U.S., and learn how cooperatives and communities power our future.

Cooperative Youth Leadership Camp — July 2026

  • An action-packed week learning about teamwork, leadership, and the cooperative way, all while rafting the Colorado River, exploring Steamboat’s mountain scenery, and building lifelong friendships.

All high school juniors and seniors of Holy Cross Energy members are invited to apply for these all-expenses-paid experiences.

Calling all young artists! Help us power some holiday cheer.

We’re inviting all elementary students in our area to submit original holiday artwork for our 2025 holiday card contest.

Here’s how it works:

  • Encourage your students to create artwork that celebrates the spirit of the holidays
  • This year’s theme is “Powering Holiday Cheer!
  • Winning designs will appear on the cover of our holiday card and in our December member newsletter
  • Prizes will be awarded for the art departments at the schools of the winning students (up to $500!)
  • As a thank-you, all participating schools will receive $100 for their art department
