LINE EXTENSION

A line extension – for the purpose of this rule – is the construction, or modification of the co-op’s electric distribution system required, in order for a member or group of members to receive electric service.

VEGETATION MANAGEMENT

Clearing trees that could grow into overhead power lines is necessary in order to keep the lights on. Trees growing under power lines are the greatest threat to reliable electric service. We require a minimum of 10 feet of clearance from our facilities.
