Cover up to 50% of your electricity bills with community solar. We take all the energy produced from our Income-qualified community solar array located in Gypsum and give it back to our members that need it the most. The program helps to reduce annual electric costs with local renewable energy.

  • HCE Members that meet the qualifying income levels
  • Homeowners and renters
  • Families, couples, individuals and seniors
  • HCE members in single family homes, condos, apartments and mobile homes
  • Households at 80% of area median income
  • Past participants and those on waiting list

How it works

  • Income eligible members can apply to participate in the program
  • Two-year participation period – This period has closed and will re-open 2023
  • The solar energy produced is used to offset electricity costs

How to apply

Program enrollment for 2021 – 2023 has ended. Open enrollment for the next participation period will be available September 2022.

Income-qualified weatherization

Did you qualify for community solar? If so, you are also eligible for free energy efficiency upgrades to your home with our income-qualified weatherization program. Homeowners and renters can apply.
