“Receiving the HCE scholarship has truly transformed my perception of not only the opportunities I have but the ability to take full advantage of them. My name is Marilynn Stephens and I am attending the Colorado School of Mines. Once I learned I had received the HCE scholarship I knew I was able to attend this school as it was a moment of reassurance. Holy Cross Energy has been so tremendously kind and continue to push forward the idea of creating a healthier environment for women in STEM. This scholarship in particular allows myself to explore the possibilities of engineering even at a school where they lack female participation. The greatest part is, I can do all this with the financial stability the scholarship gave me. I will forever be grateful for the chance this scholarship has given me at an amazing future as being a woman in STEM.”
