What happens when your electric cooperative is owned by the same local people it serves? You get local decisions made close to home, dollars reinvested in local infrastructure, and a cooperative that delivers consistently high percentages of renewable energy while keeping rates among the lowest in the state.

One of the best things about being a member-owned co-op? The people guiding our company decisions are your fellow members. No outside shareholders here!
This year, five of your fellow members are running for two seats on our Board of Directors, and every Holy Cross Energy member gets to vote for one candidate in each district.
At this stage, paper ballots may not arrive by the June 9 deadline. To make sure your vote is counted, you can vote online or through your SmartHub account. And before you vote, please take a few minutes to read our full candidate Q&A and hear what they’re about.
It’s your co-op, your voice, and your vote!
Reducing wildfire risk is something we work on every single day, not just when conditions get scary. Year-round, our crews are out completing rigorous vegetation management work, high-tech equipment inspections, and state-of-the-art system upgrades along our power lines.
Wildfire season is officially here, meaning now is a great time to familiarize yourself with all things wildfire preparedness.
Click through for some helpful resources on what you can do to prepare, and learn more about what we’re doing every day to keep our members and communities safe.
