Jace Sinks
Electric Lineworker

Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Norwood, Colorado. It’s a super small town near Telluride.

When did you start working for HCE?
2020

What does a typical day look like for you?
A typical day starts with breakfast and getting ready to head to work. After getting to work, we prep for jobs and visit in the crew room with colleagues. Following that, we usually head out into the field and perform our given job for the day. Once all of our work is completed for the day, we head back to the shop to clean up and prep for the following day.

What’s the best part of your job?
The best part of my job is being outside every day, working with a lot of great colleagues in a very beautiful part of Colorado.

Is there anything that surprised you about working for an electric co-op that you didn’t know before working here?
What had surprised me about working at a co-op was the amount that the company invests time and training into their employees. Holy Cross truly cares and invests tons of employee training which aids us to be able to perform safely and efficiently.

What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy riding snowmobiles and side-by-sides with friends, and anything outdoors.

What’s an interesting fact about yourself?
An interesting fact about me is that when I graduated high school, I only had 15 classmates.
