Peak Time Payback "Plus"

Thermostat Bonus

Earn a one-time $25 check for setting a lower "Peak Time" thermostat temperature

Not only is electricity more expensive when the demand is high, it’s also more likely to be produced from fossil-fuel based resources than renewable resources.

By reducing the amount of non-renewable, peak time electricity we need to buy from wholesale power suppliers, we can pass those savings on to our members who voluntarily reduce their usage during those times.

By setting your thermostat just a few degrees lower for these few hours a day, you’ll also save on your monthly heating bill.

Schedule a lower
Peak Time
thermostat temperature for a $25 rebate check!

Application Form

  • Please complete the following form, including the serial number of your thermostat, a screenshot of your proof of schedule, and sign below. Once approved, we will mail you a rebate check for participating.
  • Offer is only valid for homes with electric heat controlled by a Mysa thermostat.
  • Thermostat temperature must be set three (3) degrees lower than your set temperature for the rest of the day and night.
  • For example: if your normal “comfortable” home temperature is 70 degrees, set your thermostat schedule to 67 degrees during 4:00 – 9:00 p.m.

Please include the following two screenshots (example views below):

1) Screenshot showing your temperature has been lowered 3 degrees between 4 – 9pm.

  • The easiest way to do this is to create an event at 9 pm with your normal comfortable temperature, and an event at 4 pm that is three degrees lower.

2) Screenshot showing you applied that schedule to all days of the week.

  • Once you have the schedule set for one day, click “Copy Day,” then select all the days of the week on the next screen.
