Holy Cross Energy (HCE) offers community solar to help lower bills
Holy Cross Energy currently has openings for eligible members to participate in its community solar assistance program. Members chosen to participate in the program will receive a bill credit from the energy produced by their assigned portion of HCE’s community solar array in Gypsum each month.
The assistance program provides significant cost savings for low-income members, covering roughly half of each month’s electricity bill.
To qualify for the program, participants must be current HCE customers and their total household income must be at, or below, 80% of their county’s median income. Household income is a total of all income earned (before taxes) from all adults living in the home. This includes roommates; it does not matter if residents are related to one another.
